About the Hotel
We are a Grade II listed building which has been recently refurbished and is under new management. Originally, the hotel was a family business between 1974 and 2004. During this period, the hotel was steadily extended with several houses in the terrace being joined together. Previously the houses had been used by Royal Navy Officers as quarters as they commanded views across the River Medway and Chatham Docks, which have, in recent years, been redeveloped to domestic and commercial properties.

Our Location
The hotel is situated 25 miles from the centre of London with easy road access via the main A2 / M2 / M20. The London Orbital (M25) links to the main UK motorway network and is just 15 miles from the hotel. Guests travelling by air can reach the hotel from Stansted (55 mins), Gatwick (55mins), Heathrow (75 mins) and London City Airport (35 mins).
